| 30. Formal Translation And Hezekiah blocked the upper outlet of the waters of Gihon and directed them downward, westward, to the City of David. He succeeded in all his works. |
| 30. Dynamic Translation It was Hezekiah who blocked the upper spring of the Gihon water and channeled it down to the west side of the City of David. In all his endeavors he was successful. |
