Proverbs 29:9:1אִֽישׁ־חָכָ֗םishkhakhama man of wise or a wise man
Proverbs 29:9:2נִ֭שְׁפָּטnishpetais judged or enters into dispute Proverbs 29:9:3אֶת־אִ֣ישׁetishwith a man Proverbs 29:9:4אֱוִ֑ילevilfoolish or a fool Proverbs 29:9:5וְרָגַ֥זveragazand he rages or and he is agitated Proverbs 29:9:6וְ֝שָׂחַ֗קvesakhakand he laughs Proverbs 29:9:7וְאֵ֣יןveenand there is not or and there is no Proverbs 29:9:8נָֽחַת׃nakhatrest or quietness
9. Formal Translation
If a wise man enters into judgment with a foolish man, whether he rages or laughs, there is no rest.
9. Dynamic Translation
When a wise person argues with a fool, whether the fool becomes angry or laughs, peace cannot be found.
