| 18. Formal Translation Then Judah drew near and said, “My lord, I implore you to let your servant speak a single word before you. May your anger not smolder against your servant, for your authority is akin to that of Pharaoh himself.” |
| 18. Dynamic Translation Judah stepped forward and said, “My lord, please allow your servant to say a word to you. Do not let your anger flare against me, because you stand like Pharaoh.” |
