Proverbs 25:8:2לָרִ֗בlarivto contend or to dispute Proverbs 25:8:3מַ֫הֵ֥רmaherquickly Proverbs 25:8:4פֶּ֣ןpenlest Proverbs 25:8:5מַה־תַּ֭עֲשֶׂהmataasewhat will you do Proverbs 25:8:6בְּאַחֲרִיתָ֑הּbeakharitahin its end or afterward Proverbs 25:8:7בְּהַכְלִ֖יםbehakhlimwhen {one is} humiliating or shaming Proverbs 25:8:8אֹתְךָ֣otkhayou Proverbs 25:8:9רֵעֶֽךָ׃reekhayour neighbor or your companion
8. Formal Translation
Do not go out hastily to bring a case, lest you not know what to do in the end when your companion brings you to shame.
8. Dynamic Translation
Do not rush to press a case against someone, or you might not know what to do in the end when your neighbor humiliates you.
